About Sakshi
Hello, Sanika di
My name is Sakshi Gaud, and I have recently completed my Bachelor's in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), majoring in Psychology. I belong to the very first four-year undergraduate batch under the National Education Policy (NEP), which meant that throughout my degree I experienced a system that was still evolving.
The last four years taught me much more than psychology. They taught me what it feels like to move forward without a roadmap. There was constant confusion, self-doubt, and uncertainty because neither students nor many educators had experienced this journey before. We were learning the system while living through it.
While searching for guidance, I came across many educational platforms. Most of them focused on helping students score better in exams like CUET, NET, or university assessments. That support is valuable, but I felt something important was missing.
Students today have teachers who prepare them for examinations, but very few have mentors who understand the emotional and academic journey they are currently living. They need someone they can relate to, someone who has recently faced the same challenges, made the same mistakes, and found a way through them. They need guidance that goes beyond marks and helps them build confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love for psychology.
This is where I believe I can contribute.

I want to help students see psychology not just as another subject to memorize, but as a discipline that changes the way we think, understand people, and approach life. I hope to make psychology more approachable and meaningful for students who are just beginning their journey.
