About Lois
Hi, I’m Lois! I’m a Psychology graduate with a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Developmental Psychology. I have always had a strong interest in understanding how people learn, develop and build confidence, which is one of the reasons I enjoy supporting others with their education.
Alongside my studies, I have gained professional experience working with and supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds. This has helped me develop strong communication, listening and organisational skills, as well as a patient and understanding approach.
I decided to become a tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping people understand things they may initially find difficult. I know that education can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when you're struggling with a subject or lacking confidence, and I want to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I offer online tutoring in Psychology, English and History. Whether you're preparing for an exam, working on an essay, revising a difficult topic or simply wanting to improve your confidence, I would love to help you reach your goals.
My aim is to make lessons enjoyable, encouraging and tailored to you, while helping you develop skills and confidence that you can carry forward into your future studies.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, supportive and tailored to each individual student. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand their strengths, areas they find challenging and what they would like to achieve.
I have a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Developmental Psychology, giving me a strong academic background alongside my professional experience supporting and communicating with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
I offer online tuition in Psychology, English and History, and aim to make lessons engaging, clear and enjoyable. Whether you are preparing for exams, struggling with a particular topic, looking to improve your essay writing, or simply wanting to build your confidence, I can adapt lessons around your needs.
I believe that learning should be a positive experience. There is no judgement if you don't understand something straight away — we can take our time, break difficult topics into manageable sections and find the learning style that works best for you.
My aim is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them become more confident and independent learners. I want every student to finish a lesson feeling that they have made progress and have a clearer understanding of what they are working towards.
