About Dhwanil

I take a supportive, student-centered approach to tutoring, focusing on building both confidence and a clear understanding of concepts. I adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style and pace, ensuring they feel comfortable and engaged throughout.

My teaching is based on proven techniques such as active recall, spaced repetition, and practice with exam-style questions. I simplify complex topics—especially in psychology—by connecting them to real-life examples, making them easier to understand and remember.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and include a quick review, focused teaching, and guided practice. I also provide helpful strategies for answering questions and improving exam performance.

I hold a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of South Australia and have experience in roles that require strong communication, patience, and understanding of individual needs.

My lessons are suitable for high school students (Year 10–12) and beginners looking to strengthen their understanding and confidence.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s learning pace and needs, ensuring concepts are explained in a simple, relatable way rather than just memorised.

I use a mix of techniques including real-life examples, active recall, spaced repetition, and discussion-based learning. For subjects like psychology, I connect theories to everyday situations to make them easier to understand and remember. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and create a comfortable environment where they feel confident to express themselves.

A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes. Usually, I begin with a quick review of previous content, followed by introducing new concepts, and then practice through questions, case studies, or exam-style problems. I also provide tips on how to structure answers and improve critical thinking, especially for assessments.

I hold a Bachelor of Psychology from the University of South Australia and have a strong academic foundation in areas such as cognitive psychology, behaviour, and mental health. I have also participated in research-related activities focused on memory and perception, which strengthens my understanding of how students learn best.

My lessons are suitable for high school students (Year 10–12), especially those studying psychology or related subjects, as well as beginners who are interested in understanding human behaviour. I am also happy to support students who need help with study skills, exam preparation, or building confidence in their learning.
