About Diana
When I was a primary school student, I had a favourite teacher. That favourite teacher was everyone's favourite, not because she didn't give us homework, but because she cared about teaching. She was invested in our future and genuinely wanted us to succeed. That's who I wanted to be like. That's a little story about me as a student to let you know that I get the pressures of good achievement, and a good tutor genuinely invested in your future can make studying seem less daunting. Hence, I believe quality tutoring should be accessible to all students, regardless of financial background. My goal is to provide effective, personalised support and I hope that I can provide that for you.

I approach each student with unconditional positive regard, recognising that everyone learns differently. I'll identify whether you learn best through visual, auditory, or hands-on methods and adapt my teaching accordingly. Sessions run 1-1.5 hours which is the optimal time before the brain stops absorbing new information. My experience: I taught reading to my neighbour's 12 year old daughter, who went on to receive an end-of-year award. Seeing her confidence grow was incredibly rewarding. I tutor Psychology & English at GCSE and A-level, plus reading and spelling support for younger students.
