About Jane
I am highly experienced, friendly, adaptive and humorous (well you can decide that!). I get great pleasure from helping students succeed, especially those struggling with confidence or those feeling overwhelmed, and I have special expertise in working with neurodivergent students.

I have 20 years' experience of teaching Psychology, and more recently Sociology and Criminology. I’ve taught a range of students, both in the State and Private sectors, and I have been an examiner for A Level Psychology and GCSE Sociology.
I offer tutoring in:
Psychology GCSE and A Level (specialism)
Sociology GCSE
Criminology Level 3 Diploma
I tailor every lesson to the individual student, focusing on how they learn best and what they need to succeed. Whether they’re struggling to understand tricky theories, forgetting key studies or unsure how to turn knowledge into exam marks, I’ll help make it all click.
My lessons are fun, engaging and practical, using memorable techniques, real-life examples, quizzes, discussions and exam-focused activities to make Psychology (and/or Sociology/Criminology) easier to understand and much easier to recall.
