Techniques and Teaching Methodology
As a psychology undergraduate, I bring a fresh perspective to tutoring, incorporating both academic knowledge and practical strategies. I focus on understanding each student’s individual needs and learning style, creating a supportive environment where they feel confident to ask questions and explore new ideas. I use active learning techniques, such as discussion-based sessions, real-life examples, and interactive exercises to engage students and help them retain information.
Typical Lesson Length
My lessons typically last around 60 minutes. This provides enough time to cover material in depth without overwhelming the student. However, I’m flexible and can adjust the length to suit the student's focus level or specific needs.
Qualifications and Experience
I’m currently an undergraduate studying psychology, and my coursework gives me a foundation in understanding how people learn, think, and process information. I have experience tutoring high school students, especially in psychology, English, and general study skills.
