About Sasha

I am a Psychology with Criminology student at Nottingham Trent with a love of mathematics who has long helped peers, friends and family with maths and other studies. I received all A* grades at GSCE in Maths, English, Sciences and more, and have amassed various strategies and revision techniques to help others do the same. I am a final year psychology student with a passion for psychology that I would love to pass on to others!

I have personal and professional experience of the challenges of learning difficulties and mental health issues in my role as a support worker, therefore I have a very calm and patient manner, and am aware of the challenges and mental health stresses surrounding exams and studying.

About the lesson

I like to tailor the lessons to each student - my first lesson will be figuring this out with each student. No reason it all has to be boring! Linked on my ad is a video that helped me grow my interest in psychology and exemplifies why I find it so fascinating.

Some people learn in ways that the classroom doesn't match - concentration issues, lack of direct teacher time, mismatched revision techniques and heavy homework loads can work against people who are not naturally inclined to schooling in a traditional sense - believe it or not, there is more to learning in the real world than flashcards! (Although I do make a mean flashcard.)

A few hours tutoring from me will not only assist in homework etc. but provide building blocks, techniques and strategies that will make their revision and working processes tailored and low stress. With real world relatability, repetition, YouTube videos, app games, competitiveness, activities and so many more things to try, I will find a style of tutoring to suit you.

I am also very flexible, so I can make the hours suit you. Some people like to stay in the zone at the end of the school day and get their homework and revision done at the end of each day, others want to get all their schoolwork finished on Saturday morning so they are free to enjoy their evenings. I will make it work for you, and I offer a block booking discount for added flexibility.
