About Janine

I teach because I enjoy being engaging and supportive which is what I believe students need the most from their lecturers/tutors. I am relatable and use my own experience and time at a university to guide me through understanding what students need from a tutor. I am able to help you to understand your work from a different perspective. As individuals I want you to achieve, therefore I will help to boost your confidence and see your potential, which for me is what it is all about! Assisting you in continuing your studies and getting to graduation feeling proud of yourselves!

About the lesson

I am understanding of every need and really do want to see students thrive. Through my own widening participation experience of higher education as a student as well as lecturer, I can help guide you. Tutoring is important to me as it is my chance to expand on the help I enjoy giving students. Sometimes help outside of your university can be a breath of fresh air and I hope to bring enjoyment to your studies. My lessons are 30/60/90 minutes long. Should you need longer this can be arranged however, I do believe a break is needed for longer sessions to help you keep engaged and make the most out of the time we have. You tell me what works well for you and I will accommodate as best as I can!
