About Aarini
I’m a Public Policy postgraduate and History graduate with a strong academic and professional background in research, education, and social sciences. I believe that learning Social Science should be more than memorizing dates and definitions it should help students understand the world around them.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and student-focused. I simplify complex topics, encourage questions, and connect lessons to real-world examples so that students can develop both strong concepts and confidence in answering questions.

My teaching approach focuses on making Social Science simple, engaging, and easy to understand rather than relying on rote memorisation. I encourage students to understand the “why” behind historical events, political concepts, and social issues through examples, discussions, and real-world connections.
A typical class begins with a quick revision of the previous topic, followed by an explanation of the new concept using simple language and relevant examples. I then encourage students to ask questions and discuss the topic before ending with a short recap and practice questions.
As a teacher, I focus on patience, clear communication, and adapting my teaching style to each student’s pace and learning needs. My background in History and Public Policy allows me to bring both academic depth and practical examples into the classroom.
My classes are primarily intended for school students studying Social Science, particularly History, Civics/Political Science, and related subjects. I can also help students with exam preparation, assignments, revision, and developing better answer-writing skills.
