I am a published journalist with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Ball State University. I am well versed in all things English/Literature, from Greek philosophy and screenwriting to essays and reading comprehension. I have over three years of tutoring experience, including elementary, middle & high school, and university.

My teaching approach depends on the student, as all students are different and process information at varying degrees. The greatest disservice of public schooling is the assumption that all people can be taught the same subjects the same exact way; my teaching methods are tailored to each of my students individual needs. Some students may need more firm, hands-on demonstrations and examples to fully understand a lesson, and some are better with detailed instructions and being left to their own devices. Regardless, I am confident that I can adapt to whatever teaching method is necessary.
