About HARSHITA
Hello, I am Harshita Singh, I’m a passionate English student with a love for storytelling and communication. Before being a tutor, my love for English roots deep back to my high school books and teachers. As a high school graduate and published writer on multiple e-book platforms, I know how powerful language can be in expressing ideas and connecting with people. I have successfully completed the IELTS exam with a band of 7 and am currently studying Bachelor of Biotechnology at University of Adelaide. I have developed a strong foundation in English reading, writing, and speaking skills. My goal is to help you build confidence, fluency, and accuracy in English whether you’re studying for exams, preparing for interviews, or simply improving your everyday communication. My lessons focus on improving practical skills (e.g., day-to-day conversation), creative thinking, and clear, personalized feedback. Teaching Methodology:- 1) I focus on using English actively in speaking, writing, and real-life scenarios. 2) I believe in using the scaffolded learning method, that breaks concepts into small, clear steps, moving from simple to complex. 3) I will adjust grammar, vocabulary, and activities based on your goals 4) My purpose is to help people with academic writing, conversational fluency, exam preparation, or just for simply improving confidence. Standard session: 45–60 minutes Exam prep sessions: 60–90 minutes Sessions can be adjusted depending on student need (especially for younger learners) Qualifications: - I am a high school graduate with a strong academic background in English language and literature Published writer on multiple e-book platforms (fiction) Completed IELTS with a band of 7.0 overall Experienced in helping peers and younger students improve their English skills (informal tutoring/mentoring) Skilled at writing, editing, and developing engaging English content.
