About Colette
I’ve been teaching Python for over 8 years and believe coding should feel like creative problem-solving, not memorisation. I focus on helping learners understand the “why” before the “how.” My lessons are interactive, paced for understanding, and filled with examples that relate to real-world use. I enjoy seeing students reach that turning point when logic starts making perfect sense. I also encourage learners to explore their interests through coding—be it data, web apps, or AI. This freedom helps them find direction and motivation. For me, Python is not just a language—it’s a way of thinking logically and expressing creativity. My mission is to help every student build that mindset with patience and clarity.

Each Python lesson starts with a practical problem—something simple, relatable, and real. From there, students learn how code can be used to create, automate, or analyse the world around them. This makes learning purposeful from the very first session. I move from basics like loops and functions to deeper concepts like object-oriented programming and file handling. Each concept is taught through live coding examples and immediate feedback to reinforce understanding. As learners advance, we build mini-projects that reflect real-world needs: automating repetitive tasks, analysing data, or designing small applications. This hands-on experience builds confidence and adaptability. By the end, students don’t just “learn Python”—they master the logic behind it. They gain the ability to think computationally, approach problems strategically, and express ideas through code with clarity.
