About Rupert

Upon graduating secondary school, I received an ATAR of 99.80, and admission to the competitive medical science degree. I studied at West Moreton Anglican College and was elected College Captain and awarded Dux in my senior year, as well as achieving the award for highest GPA from 8th to 11th grade. I studied Mathematical Methods (A+), Specialist Mathematics (A+), Chemistry (A+), Physics (A+), English (A+), and Chinese (A+). I was awarded the subject prizes for all of these subjects excluding specialist mathematics in my senior year. As a believer in the holistic approach to learning, in addition to studying and leadership roles I was a keen participant in school and community-based music groups. These experiences have culminated in my passion for teaching and mentoring others. Resultant from this, I began tutoring while still in school and have continued tutoring at university and hope to expand my student base at this stage, both with individual students and groups, online and in person. Additionally, my fees are variable depending on the work being conducted (group sessions, drafting, etc.) and any potential distance driven.

About the lesson

I’m a student studying the Doctor of Medicine at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), with several years of tutoring experience, as well as many more years of school-based tutoring. I graduated in 2020, with an ATAR of 99.80, ranking me among the top students in the state that year. Since then, I have completed my undergraduate (Bachelor of Medical Science) with a 7.0 GPA. I have tutored students in many disciplines, using my understanding of the ATAR system and the study habits and techniques I developed while at school, and continue to refine now in University. I have experience in online and face to face tutoring, and can accommodate students of all ages and skill levels and currently hold a blue card.

I have a wide range of availability upon request, especially when doing online tutoring, and am comfortable tutoring both primary and secondary students, via content based tutoring sessions as well as separate assignment drafting services. If you have any questions about my experiences, methods or otherwise please send me an email and I'd be happy to discuss. I can also provide a reference from another student or their parent to reassure you.
