About Laura

Hello, I'm Laura

I graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in 2019 with a first-class honours degree. After a few years in the industry, I decided to shift focus to teaching. So I gained a master's in Actor Training and Coaching at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Alongside coaching, I have assistant directed for the London Youth Opera and The Young Actors Theatre. I thoroughly enjoy witnessing artists explore and grow in confidence through performing. I have been studying acting for many years and have gained a toolkit of drama games, as one thing I love about acting is that it encourages learning through play which to me is fundamental.

I have a vast range of experience having worked in Cyprus between August 2021-2022 teaching Trinity Acting Exams, and I have most recently coached 40+ students through their LAMDA exams at Westminster Under School. I have a very sound and up-to-date knowledge of the LAMDA syllabus and criteria.

I am extremely meticulous, organised and enthusiastic.

I hold an enhanced DBS and have recently completed safeguarding training.

About the lesson

Whether it is LAMDA exams, a self-tape or you just want to gain some confidence (don't we all). I can offer a bespoke lesson to suit your needs.

I will introduce you to a vast range of acting methods to equip you with a toolkit of techniques that will help you on your acting journey. My acting pedagogy is centred around joy. I am most interested in creating a fun and engaging environment where you feel free to explore and learn.

I work online via Zoom and in person, I can travel to you with the travel expense added to your session fee. Lesson days and times can be negotiated.

1 hour session: £35 in person or online
30-minute session: £20 in person or online
Travel expenses: Any travel expenses will be added to the hourly rate of pay.
