About Jenna

As a tutor, I bring a patient, structured and highly supportive approach to every lesson. I’m deeply familiar with the English and History syllabuses, and I design personalized learning plans that break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. My strong feedback strategies help students steadily improve their writing, strengthen essay structure and build genuine confidence. I am reliable, organized and approachable, and I provide detailed lesson reports after every session so students and families can track progress and understand what to focus on throughout the week. Academically, I graduated from MLC Girls School Burwood with an ATAR of 97.05 and I achieved Band 6 results in English Advanced, Extension 1 and 2, as well as Modern History and History Extension. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Laws at UTS. I have years of experience tutoring both in-person and online, working with a wide range of learners from Year 7 to Year 12 — from students who are struggling to those seeking extension. Students enjoy learning with me because I create a calm, supportive environment where they feel understood and safe to ask questions. I believe the school system often cannot cater to every way of learning, so one-on-one support is essential. My goal is to ensure each student feels valued, motivated and equipped with strategies that genuinely work for them.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I take a personalised and empathetic approach, tailoring each lesson to the individual needs of my students. I focus on compassionate guidance, constructive feedback and steady skill-building. My sessions run for 45 minutes to an hour and are suitable for Year 7–12 students of all abilities - from those who need foundational support to those seeking extension. With three years of in-person tutoring experience and 1.5 years teaching online with Tutero, I aim to build confidence, clarity and genuine understanding in every lesson.
