Sophie is an excellent tutor/coach as she is really good at building rapport with you from day one, which is very important to get a student motivated! She is really good at identifying areas of need and helping you achieve your goals in a really tailored way for each person. She is diligent and professional but also very approachable and easy to work with. I would thoroughly recommend her!

I had been struggling with my ‘r’ sound ever since I can remember. I didn’t have speech therapy as a child and got more and more embarrassed by my ‘r’ as I got older. I finally decided to do something about it and booked a session with Sophie. She was already able to get me to make a proper ‘r’ sound right from the first session. I couldn’t believe it! After that it was just a question of practising to increase consistency. The whole process was much easier than I expected it to be! I am really thankful for these sessions!

I would thoroughly recommend Sophie as a coach - she worked with me on my English pronunciation as people were always asking me to repeat things, which is a problem as I do a lot of talking with people a lot for my job! In the assessment session she was able to identify several things in my speech that sometimes makes it difficult for others to understand me, things I had not even noticed before.
