About Cherie

I am a qualified Architect with 5+ years of experience in Revit through professional practice as well as academic projects during my time at university. I am approachable and friendly with experience of teaching university peers and colleagues how to successfully use Revit.

I have previously been employed by an international multi-disciplinary practice and am currently working at one of the AJ Top100 UK based architecture practices. In my professional career, I have been involved in developing and delivering a number of Revit-based projects of different scales, typologies, and locations (BIM Levels 1&2).

About the lesson

Knowledge in Revit is a highly desirable skillset in architectural and engineering practices across UK and internationally. It also allows for a more efficient output of information that can assist with the process of design and resolution for university level architecture projects.

I am very adaptable in my approach to teaching. I would like to start off every session with a free consultation to understand your level of comfort and knowledge with Revit so I can tailor your lessons to suit your short term and long term goals. I offer different levels of training to suit everyone. You don't need to have any prior knowledge in Revit at all.

I also offer additional lessons focused on presentation work which will benefit university students.

Beginner level:
• Understanding the Revit interface
• Basic model building skills

Intermediate level:
• Building upon basic modelling skills
• Exploring bespoke adaptable components
• Exploring more complex forms

Additional:
• How to translate Revit models into presentation quality images and drawings.

** Please note that you are required to have access to Revit and any other related software.
