About Selvi
I am a dedicated and results-oriented Assistant Professor with a strong academic foundation, holding a distinction in B.E. Civil Engineering and (M. Tech.) in Structural Engineering. I am passionate about blending theoretical knowledge with practical application to foster a deep and lasting understanding of core engineering principles. My teaching philosophy emphasizes conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving. Each class is designed with a structured approach—starting with concept revision, followed by detailed explanation, practical examples, and interactive discussions. With strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, and ETABS, I integrate software tools into my teaching to enhance students’ technical skills and industry readiness. I have also mentored multiple student projects that combine engineering theory with software application, encouraging innovation and hands-on learning. Whether teaching undergraduate or postgraduate students, my focus remains on delivering engaging, application-driven learning that prepares students for both academic success and professional challenges.
