About Khadeeja

My name is Khadeeja Khan and I am a UK-qualified primary teacher with teaching experience in both the UK and Dubai. I have worked with children across the primary age range and have supported pupils in English, Math, phonics, reading, writing and confidence-building.

I chose teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping children grow, not only academically, but also in their confidence and self-belief. I understand that every child learns differently, and I find it rewarding to break learning down in a way that makes sense to them.

My aim is to create lessons where children feel comfortable, encouraged and motivated to try their best. I want every child I teach to feel listened to, supported and proud of their progress.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is simple: every child learns differently, so every lesson should feel personal to them.

I like to first understand where the child is confident and where they may need extra support. From there, I build lessons that are clear, calm and encouraging. I use modeling, questioning, examples, games, visual prompts and lots of praise to help children feel comfortable enough to try, make mistakes and improve.

I do not believe in putting pressure on children or making lessons feel like another school day. My aim is to make learning feel manageable, enjoyable and purposeful. Whether a child needs help with phonics, reading, writing, math or exam preparation, I break things down step by step so they can build real understanding and confidence.

Lessons are usually 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the child’s age and concentration level. Younger children often benefit from shorter, more interactive tasks, while older primary children can manage more focused work.

I am a UK-qualified primary teacher with experience teaching the British Curriculum in both the UK and Dubai. I have worked with children across the primary age range and have supported pupils with English, Math, phonics, reading, writing, homework, confidence-building and 11+ preparation. I have over 10 years of tutoring experience.

My lessons are suitable for children from FS1 to Year 6, including children who need extra support, children who need a confidence boost, and children who are ready to be challenged further.
