About NURUL HIDAYAH ZAFIRA
I am a qualified Operations Management graduate from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and an experienced educator with a strong passion for teaching young learners. With hands-on experience in early childhood education and robotics, I am committed to creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to explore, ask questions, and grow. I previously teach early childhood education and basic robotics, focusing on developing essential skills such as problem-solving, creativity, communication, and critical thinking. My teaching combines structured learning with hands-on activities, ensuring that lessons are both meaningful and enjoyable. I believe learning should be engaging and age-appropriate, especially for young children, to build a strong foundation for future academic success. My goal is to help kindergarten and primary school students gain confidence in their abilities while developing curiosity and a love for learning. I am dedicated to maintaining professionalism in every lesson by being well-prepared, patient, and attentive to each student’s needs.

My teaching approach focuses on interactive, student-centred learning that encourages understanding, creativity, and confidence. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods based on each learner’s age, level, and learning style. For robotics and early childhood education, I use hands-on activities, visual aids, demonstrations, and guided practice to ensure students actively participate and enjoy the learning process. I also incorporate play-based and inquiry-based learning for younger children to make lessons fun and meaningful.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, allowing enough time for explanation, practice, and revision. For younger learners, lesson duration can be adjusted to 45 minutes to match their attention span. Lessons are structured with a warm-up activity, main learning session, practical exercises, and a short recap to reinforce understanding.
I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons.) in Operations Management from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with a strong academic background. I also have practical teaching experience as a Robotics Facilitator at NextGen Makers Robotic Academy and as a Kindergarten Teacher and Teacher’s Assistant at iQ Aulad Playschool and Preschool. These experiences have strengthened my skills in classroom management, communication, and child-centred teaching.
My lessons are suitable for kindergarten and primary school students, particularly those aged 4 to 12 years. I teach early childhood education, basic robotics, and STEM fundamentals, focusing on building problem-solving skills, creativity, and confidence in young learners.
