About Sharon

I have always loved teaching because no two students are ever the same. Every learner brings different strengths, challenges, and ways of thinking, and I enjoy finding the approach that helps them succeed. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing a student go from saying “I do not get it” to confidently explaining a concept themselves. Business is a subject that surrounds us every day, and I love helping students connect what they learn in the classroom to real life. With over 20 years of industry experience and 15 years in education, I can bring business theory to life through real examples, practical stories, and experiences that make learning more meaningful, memorable, and enjoyable. Above all, I enjoy helping people build confidence in themselves and realise they are capable of achieving far more than they thought possible.

I am a fully qualified Business Studies teacher with over 15 years of teaching experience and more than 20 years of real world industry experience.
What makes my lessons different is that I do not just teach theory. I bring it to life. Before teaching, I worked in senior operational and commercial roles across a range of industries, allowing me to explain not only what a business concept means, but why it matters in the real world.
Students often tell me that subjects finally “click” because I can connect classroom theory to genuine business examples, stories, and experiences. Whether we are discussing marketing, finance, recruitment, leadership, or entrepreneurship, I use real life situations to make learning memorable and engaging.
My lessons are fast paced, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I specialise in helping students who may have lost confidence, feel overwhelmed by coursework, or simply need concepts explained in a different way. Building confidence is just as important as improving grades.
