About Sofiah
My previous experience as an early year’s teacher within a school setting, allowed me to deepen my understanding of the planning, observation and assessment framework. I also have extensive experience of teaching phonics, and how children with English as an additional language can be supported. This has been instrumental in my understanding of education globally and also has developed my teaching by allowing me to critically reflect upon practice.I am enthusiastic about education and always strive to do the best for my students. I can take on responsibility for learning and have experience of successfully managing a class as well as independent small group tuition. The nature of my work in education has prepared me to be an innovative tutor with a proven track record. I have also worked in early years management, and have developed my leadership potential which assists me with younger children and dealing with SEND.
