About Samiirah
I have experience teaching Economics and Business Studies to secondary-level students, and I am familiar with different learning needs and examination requirements. My name is Samiirah, and I am a qualified Economics and Business Studies educator with a Degree in Economics and Management, an MBA, and a PGCE in Economics. I specialize in making complex economic concepts simple, clear, and relevant to everyday life, helping students build both understanding and confidence.
My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, questioning techniques, and step-by-step guidance to ensure that learners fully grasp key concepts before moving forward. I also focus strongly on exam skills, including essay writing, data response questions, and structured answers, depending on the syllabus requirements.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of prior knowledge, followed by a clear explanation of the new topic using examples and visual aids. We then move on to guided practice, where I support students in solving questions step by step. Finally, students complete independent practice tasks, and I provide feedback to help them improve continuously.
