About Pooja

Hi, I'm Pooja! A qualified teacher with a fantastic exam pass rate of 100% above grade C and 50% of those students achieving a A or above at A Level. I'm great at breaking ideas down and making them relatable for students to understand. I'm a great believer in chronology to ensure themes/ideas make sense and students gain a broader understanding. I'm super passionate about History! Due to my experience, I'm great at understanding student's needs and ensuring they get the 1-1 support they need as every student has different learning methods and needs.

About the lesson

I teach 1 hour sessions 1-1 online. I am a qualified teacher and have experience with online tutoring. My style of teaching is based on chronology and themes throughout the time period. I teach a very knowledge rich curriculum with plenty of examples and opportunities for questions and discussions. This is always supported with written questions. For GCSE and A-Level I ensure that topics are fully covered, finding out the weak points of student's knowledge and ensuring they understand and practise the structure of exam questions.
