I try to make teaching fun and interactive, once I have established what a child's strengths and weaknesses are. Activities are practical and visual, sometimes including kinaesthetic depending on the child. I use lots of modelling and thinking out loud with images for clarity when a child is stuck on particular vocabulary and concepts.
