About Emma

Hello & welcome to the Lily & Bee floristry school
My name is Emma and I am the founder of the floristry school at lily and bee. As you have landed here, I’m guessing you would like to know a little bit more about our floristry courses.
I am a qualified floristry lecturer and assessor with over 9 years teaching at industry level. I hold my level 4 city and guilds floristry qualification. I have been a florist for over 35 years and still believe it is the best job in the world!
I love nothing more than spending my time with like minded people sharing my skills and industry knowledge. On the following pages is a selection of the courses we run. Can’t see what you’re looking for? drop us an email and we can tailor a course to you.

About the lesson

ll our workshops are run by Emma, a fully qualified florist with 35 years’ experience. Emma is also a qualified floristry teacher and assessor who has been teaching for 9 years.

We run lots of workshops throughout the year, from Spring table centers all the way through to Christmas wreathes. Our classes are fun, informative, friendly and relaxed. With our depth of knowledge and experience we will show you the correct techniques and mechanics needed for floristry. All the workshops are suitable for complete beginners and we keep the workshops fun and relaxed.

Workshops are held in Southwick village, just outside of Portsmouth. Workshop prices include all flowers, tuition and light refreshments.

We can also offer private workshops for corporate team building, hen parties etc. A minimum of 4 people is required for private bookings.

1-1 private tuition is also available for people looking for a career change, or florists looking to brush up or build on their current skills with a qualified teacher. Price on application.
