I am a calm, patient and caring secondary school English teacher in a UK comprehensive. I’ve got around 3 years of experience.

I think the best way to learn is through completing work together which we can discuss, as well as effective feedback. I often like to have students complete a task independently in their own time which I can then look at and give feedback with very specific targets for how to improve.
Typically a lesson would be an hour, and would focus on whatever the student would like to that week. I pride myself on a calm atmosphere in my classroom and I this extends to online tutoring.
As a qualified secondary school teacher I also have a lot of revision resources to help when it comes to exams.
I typically work with students aged between 11 and 18.
