About Gareth
I'm Gareth, a current Year 4 teacher with 13 years of classroom experience, passionate about helping children unlock their potential. Throughout my career, I've worked with pupils of all abilities, creating engaging lessons that build confidence, resilience and a genuine love of learning.
I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor each tutoring session to suit their individual needs, whether they're aiming to improve confidence, close gaps in learning, prepare for SATs or simply reach the next level academically.
As a friendly, patient and approachable teacher, I believe children make the best progress when they feel comfortable asking questions and aren't afraid to make mistakes. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where every child feels supported, challenged and proud of what they achieve.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy sport and keeping active, and I bring the same enthusiasm and encouragement to my tutoring sessions. I look forward to helping your child grow in confidence and achieve their goals.

I'm a fully qualified Primary Teacher with 13 years of classroom experience, helping children develop confidence, resilience and a genuine love of learning. Throughout my career, I've taught across Key Stage 2 and have supported pupils with a wide range of abilities, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs and helping every child reach their potential.
Alongside my classroom experience, I have provided one-to-one tuition, including supporting pupils in private education. My lessons are engaging, personalised and designed to build both academic progress and self-belief. I believe children learn best when they feel relaxed, encouraged and challenged at the right level.
Whether your child needs support with English, maths, SATs preparation, closing learning gaps or simply boosting confidence, I create lessons that are enjoyable, structured and focused on measurable progress. I work closely with parents to ensure they are kept informed and can see the impact of each session.
