About Charles
I am a qualified lead science teacher currently teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE at all levels, as well as Physics and Chemistry to A level.
I also have experience tutoring all sciences to GCSE online.
I completed my teacher training and began teaching in Wales after studying a Chemistry degree at Cardiff University. I then moved to England and have been teaching in a school in Ashford, Kent since.
I enjoy linking my teaching to real world experiences to help it become more memorable for my students and use a variety of approaches to await all types of learners to help them achieve their maximum potential.
During the COVID-19 lockdown I have been teaching my lessons online, which has provided me with excellent experience in remote teaching and has helped me adapt my teaching to suit online learning.
