About Silvia
I have several years of experience teaching Mathematics and Physics at secondary school level, working with students of different abilities and learning styles. I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential by building both understanding and confidence in the subject.
My approach is patient, supportive, and focused on developing deep conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

I am a qualified Mathematics and Physics teacher with both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Mathematics, as well as a Master's Degree in Science Communication. I have several years of teaching experience in secondary schools and have worked with students of different ages and abilities. I have also prepared students for Mathematics competitions, helping them develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
My lessons are fully personalised to meet each student's needs, whether they are looking to improve their understanding of a topic, prepare for school exams, GCSEs, A Levels, university entrance tests, or simply build confidence in Mathematics. I believe that every student can succeed when concepts are explained clearly and at the right pace.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding rather than memorising. I explain concepts step by step using clear examples before moving on to guided and independent practice. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and adapt my teaching methods to suit each individual's learning style.
