About Luciah
Hello! My name is Luciah Mashapa, and I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals. I teach Mathematics, Natural Sciences & Technology, and English because I enjoy making learning meaningful, engaging, and accessible for every learner.
I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when they receive the right support, encouragement, and guidance. This passion for helping others grow is what inspired me to become a teacher. Seeing students gain confidence, improve their understanding, and reach their full potential is the most rewarding part of my work.
I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. My aim is to make every lesson enjoyable while helping learners build strong subject knowledge, critical thinking skills, and confidence that extends beyond the classroom.

I am a dedicated and passionate teacher offering private lessons in Mathematics, Natural Sciences & Technology, and English. My goal is to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels confident to ask questions, participate, and reach their full potential.
My teaching approach is learner-centred and tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and pace. I use clear explanations, practical examples, interactive activities, and regular practice to help learners understand concepts rather than simply memorising them. I also provide constructive feedback and encouragement to build confidence and improve academic performance.
I am proficient in teaching in English and can also provide support in isiZulu when needed to help learners better understand difficult concepts.
A typical lesson includes a review of previous work, explanation of new concepts, guided practice, independent exercises, and a short assessment to monitor progress. I also help students with homework, assignments, exam preparation, study skills, and revision techniques.
My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school learners of all ability levels, whether they need extra support, want to improve their grades, prepare for tests and examinations, or challenge themselves to achieve higher academic results.
