About Luke
I studied A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics at sixth form. As well as this, I hold an Undergraduate degree in Performance Analysis and Coaching Science as well as a Master's degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Derby, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Birmingham City University, granting me qualified teacher status. I am an early careers teacher in Mathematics who loves to dedicate his break time and lunch time to helping students looking for that additional support in small groups and 1-to-1. I have experience with teaching students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, visual/hearing impairments. My Undergraduate and Master's degree also enables me to support any PE needs. I currently work as a secondary school teacher and part time tutor.

I am a dedicated Mathematics tutor with a background in secondary education, specialising in guiding KS2 KS3 and KS4 students towards success in Mathematics. My experience in teaching has equipped me with the tools to make challenging concepts approachable and engaging, helping students build confidence and improve their problem-solving skills. I take pride in creating a supportive learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs and learning style. Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes. My tutoring approach is patient, adaptable, and focused on developing confidence in each student's mathematical abilities. I believe in encouraging critical thinking, applying real-world examples, and fostering a positive attitude towards learning. I aim to make each session engaging, structured, and tailored to address individual strengths and challenges.
