About Natalia
Students can feel completely confident in the quality and professionalism of my teaching. I bring over 15 years of experience in top UK schools and currently serve as Head of Languages, where I oversee teaching and learning in multiple languages. As a Principal Examiner for a major UK exam board, I have specialist insight into what students need to achieve top grades in Portuguese exams.
My approach is supportive, organised and results-driven. I am committed to helping each student feel motivated and confident, whether they are preparing for an exam, starting from scratch or aiming to develop fluent communication for personal or professional reasons. My students consistently achieve strong results and often progress faster than they expected due to the structured, personalised nature of the lessons.

My lessons are fully personalised and adapted to each learner’s goals. I combine a structured, step-by-step approach with a strong focus on communication, ensuring students develop both accuracy and confidence in Portuguese. Lessons integrate grammar in context, conversation practice, listening and reading skills, as well as clear guidance on writing. I also use authentic materials — such as videos, articles and real-life scenarios — to make learning enjoyable and relevant.
A typical session lasts 60 minutes, and each lesson includes explanation, guided practice, conversation, and personalised feedback. Students always leave with clear targets and tailored resources to support their progress.
I am a fully qualified MFL teacher with over 15 years of experience, and I currently work as Head of Languages at an independent school in London. I am also a Principal Examiner for a UK exam board, which gives me expert knowledge of assessment, marking criteria and exam preparation strategies. I teach Portuguese from beginner level to advanced, including GCSE, A-Level, IB and Portuguese A Literature.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, adults, beginners, advanced learners and professionals who need Portuguese for work, relocation or personal development.
