About Alex
I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages (Spanish and English) which I studied in France. This degree allowed me to develop an in-depth understanding of the Spanish language and culture. As I was born and raised in the heart of the Champagne, in France; I am therefore a native French speaker, which allows me to teach perfect pronunciation and accurate writing skills. I have been teaching since 2017. I worked for six years in secondary state schools where I taught French up to A-Level (GCSE Edexcel & AQA; A-Level AQA) as well as Spanish up to GCSE (Edexcel & AQA). Since 2023, I have been teaching French in a North London Prep School where I have been preparing my pupils for the ISEB Common Entrance Exams at 13+ as well as preparing many pupils for Academic Scholarships (Westminster, Winchester, St Paul’s, Radley, Tonbridge, etc.).

I can help with the 4 skills (speaking, writing, listening and reading) as well as working on exam strategies. I am passionate about grammar and I love to find patterns which makes learning a language so much easier!
I keep up to date with the new GCSE specifications (AQA and Edexcel) as well as the ISEB Common Entrance Exams at 13+ and the Scholarship papers of prestigious senior schools.
