About Laavanya
Completed my BSc (Research) Mathematics from Shiv Nadar University and MSc Applied Mathematics from the University of Glasgow. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant at multiple institutions, Shiv Nadar University and University of Glasgow, as well as tutored independently. My area of expertise includes metric spaces, algebra and topology and I am well-versed with calculus, analysis and even economics (Mathematical Methods in Economics, Principles of Microeconomics, Econometrics and Game Theory).
I have more than 2 years of analytics consulting experience at EY (formerly Ernst & Young, a big-four firm) in the Financial Services sector across India and Vietnam.

The classes are based upon the individuals background and capabilities. It's a constantly evolving process, which is why I prefer to conduct individual classes for maximum benefit of the student. There are several different approaches - applied, theoretical as well as gamified. The applied approach explains the topic by means of a real-world example whereas the gamification is based on rewards for completion of specific tasks. In either case, I believe in building the concepts from the ground-up so that there is no need for memorization.
