About Miu
Hi! I’m Miu, a native Japanese speaker from Japan, currently living in Brisbane.
I have completed a Japanese language teacher training course in Japan, where I studied how to teach Japanese to learners from different backgrounds and levels.
I also have around three years of experience working with children in Japan, so I enjoy teaching both children and adults.
I decided to teach Japanese because I love meeting people from different countries and sharing Japanese language and culture. As someone who is also learning a foreign language, I understand that speaking a new language can sometimes feel difficult or scary.
That’s why I want to create a friendly and relaxed environment where you can feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and enjoying Japanese!
I’d love to help you become more confident in Japanese and make learning something you look forward to.
