About Edwina
I am Irish and a native English Speaker. I studied Italian and French at university. I have lived, studied and worked in Italy twice. I have lived and worked in France once.
I have been teaching both languages for 12 years in the Irish school system (post-primary). I have an excellent knowledge of the curricula for both French and Italian at JC and LC levels (including HL and OL Leaving Cert).
I have taught from 1st Year- 6th Year for many years including T.Y, LCA, LCVP and Repeat LC.

I aim to start with what students know and build from there. If the student is a native English speaker, I link the topic back to their own language. My mantra is 'little, but often' as it's important to be consistent with languages and take things in small bites!
I am very familiar with the Junior Cert and Leaving Cert curricula. I have excellent notes for Leaving Certificate Italian and French that I have created myself over the years. Have been teaching LC for 12 years.
