About Jannat
Hello! I’m Jannat, a qualified Primary Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for helping children thrive. I currently teach in a UK junior school and have experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, including children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
I believe every child has the potential to succeed when they feel supported, encouraged and understood. My aim is to build confidence as well as academic ability, creating a positive learning environment where children enjoy learning and aren’t afraid to ask questions or make mistakes.
Whether your child needs extra support, wants to prepare for SATs or the 11+, or is looking to stretch and challenge themselves, I’m here to help them achieve their goals while developing a lifelong love of learning. I look forward to supporting your child’s journey and celebrating their progress every step of the way.

Every child learns differently, which is why I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, learning style and pace. As a qualified Primary Teacher, I provide engaging one to one tuition in both Maths and English, helping children build confidence while making meaningful academic progress.
I specialise in reading, writing, creative writing, comprehension, grammar, spelling and punctuation, as well as primary Maths. Whether your child needs support catching up, preparing for SATs or 11+, or simply wants to feel more confident in the classroom, I create lessons that are enjoyable, challenging and personalised.
I also have extensive experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I adapt my teaching using visual resources, scaffolding, step-by-step explanations and interactive activities to ensure every child can access learning and succeed.
My aim is not only to improve grades but also to develop confident, independent learners who enjoy learning and believe in their own abilities.
