About Sanam
Hi! I’m Sanam
I’m a qualified Primary Teacher with a Primary PGCE and I currently teach Year 3. I love helping children learn, grow in confidence and discover that learning can be fun!
I have experience teaching children across the primary age range, including children with SEND and EAL. I understand that every child learns differently, so I make sure my lessons are adapted to suit each child and their individual needs.
My lessons are friendly, encouraging and interactive. I want every child to feel comfortable asking questions, having a go and making mistakes without feeling worried.
Whether you need a little extra help with Maths, English, reading or homework, or simply want to feel more confident at school, I’m here to help!

I am a qualified Primary Teacher with a Primary PGCE and current classroom experience as a Year 3 teacher. I have experience teaching children across the primary age range, including pupils with SEND and EAL, and I understand the importance of adapting teaching to suit each individual child.
My approach is friendly, patient and encouraging. I use clear explanations, modelling, questioning and practical activities to help children understand new concepts. I often use an “I do, we do, you do” approach, gradually building a child’s independence and confidence. I also adapt lessons depending on the child’s learning style, ability and areas they need to develop.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes, allowing enough time to introduce a skill, practise it together and finish with independent work or a short activity to check understanding.
I can support children aged 5–11 (Reception–Year 6) with English, Maths, reading, spelling, grammar, times tables and general homework support. My aim is to make every lesson engaging and positive while helping children make progress and feel more confident in their learning.
