Hello future world-changer! I’m so happy you’re here. Truly. Every time I meet a new student, I feel like I’m being invited into the first chapter of someone’s story, someone who will grow, learn, shine, and eventually go out into the world and make it better in their own unique way. And it’s such an honour to play even a tiny part in that journey. I’m a primary school teacher from London, and I’ve spent the last few years working with wonderful little learners in the UK and abroad. One thing I’ve learned is this: every child has something special inside them. Sometimes they know it already… and sometimes they just need someone patient, encouraging, and kind to help them see it. My approach is simple; I meet you exactly where you are, and then we climb together. No pressure, no judgement, no rushing. Just steady steps, fun activities, visuals that make things click, and lots of celebrating those “Oh! I get it!” moments. I love watching confidence bloom. I love seeing that proud smile. And I love helping you discover that you can do hard things. I’m here to support you, cheer for you, guide you gently when things feel tricky, and celebrate every win, big or small. Because I know you’re going places. I know you’ll grow into someone kind, capable, thoughtful, strong, and full of ideas. About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is centred around making learning clear, enjoyable, and confidence-building for young children. As well as working in classrooms across Inner London, I also have experience supporting international students and children whose first language is not English, so my teaching style is always gentle, encouraging, and easy to follow. I teach using a mixture of visuals, modelling, guided practice, and mini-assessments so I can instantly see what your child understands and what still needs support. I break concepts down into small, manageable steps and use lots of examples, real-life scenarios, and quick activities to keep lessons engaging. I aim to build both understanding and confidence, especially in English, phonics, maths fluency, reading comprehension, and writing skills. I adapt every lesson to your child’s needs, using a balance of structure and creativity so they stay focused while still enjoying learning. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement—children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and proud of their progress. Most lessons are 45–60 minutes, depending on the child’s age and concentration levels. For 6–9 year olds, 45 minutes usually works beautifully, but I am flexible. Each session has a clear structure: Warm-up and recap (5 mins) Main teaching input (10-15 mins) Guided practice (7 mins) Independent task with support (15 mins) Quick review and next steps (10 mins)
