About Wordplay

I'm an experienced primary school teacher with full, current GTCS registration in Scotland. I also have qualifications and experience in teaching English as a second language. I have experience of teaching children with learning differences. I'm passionate about strengthening reading, writing and speaking skills for life. I believe that parents shouldn't have to spend a fortune on tutoring, and I will coach you to support your child's learning. CV and references available on request. About the lesson

I offer tailored classes based on an understanding of your child's needs and goals, and continual assessment of their progress. Parents can be as involved as they wish in classes.

These are my prices for weekly 1:1 classes. For more frequent classes, or for 1:2 classes, the price will be lower. For young children, I suggest a 40mn class is as much as they'll manage, charged pro-rata. Concessionary rates may be available.
