About Ayan

Teaching is my passion and science is what I love to teach.

WITHOUT science would would not understand how our body works or why the seasons change or even why ice caps are melting.

Teaching is not about memorising facts for your exams, it is really about having a clear understanding so you are able to answer exam questions.

About the lesson

As a Head of Science at a London independent school I have a wealth of experience in tutoring students of all ages.

I teach Science from Year 5 through to GCSE and Biology up to A-Level. Over the past 20 years I have prepared hundreds of students for independent school entrance tests, GCSE and A-Level examinations. I have also worked closely alongside international students for 15 years.

I currently tutor across ISEB, AQA, OCR, Edexcel and IB examination boards and have full knowledge of each syllabus.

I am passionate about teaching and believe that stimulating, well-planned lessons inspire creative thinking and promote sound learning.

Learning should always be immensely enjoyable and great fun because, quite simply, the lessons we remember best are those that we enjoy the most. I know this to be true not only as a teacher, but as a parent and experienced tutor as well.

I have tutored students from all over the world for more than 15 years and it is patently clear to me that an upbeat, positive and fun approach to learning fosters self-belief, builds confidence and raises a student's performance.

Whether it is a matter of getting back-to-basics and going through key concepts and formulae or unravelling the intricacies of past-papers and preparing for imminent exams, I will show your child how to master these things and do them by him or herself with confidence and enjoyment.
