About Amie

Hello, my name is Amie; I am a resourceful and academically driven teacher who brings both enthusiasm and modern teaching methods to my lessons. With over ten years’ experience working in education, and three years’ experience as a Head of English, I have an excellent understanding of the UK secondary English curriculum. Throughout my career in education, my teaching has been consistently marked as “Good” to “Outstanding” in formal observations.

I feel that I have much to offer as a tutor, and always strive to build strong connections with students to inspire a lifelong love of English. I approach my lessons with kindness and consistency, with high expectations set in place for each and every student that I work with.
