My program is designed to nurture students both academically and emotionally through their VCE Dance studies and performances.

About the lesson

I have a history of achieving excellent results promptly with students from a variety of private and public schools across Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

My VCE and VET Dance tutoring program includes in person or online one-one sessions to support students with choreographing and refining their solo performances, whilst ensuring their solo most effectively addresses the key assessment criteria to achieve their desired results.

I assist students with the practical component of their VCE Dance course, providing support with choreography and refining their solo works with confidence, bringing the knowledge of my VCE Dance teaching and experience as a VCAA Assessor.

I also provide dance theory sessions, to support students with achieving the best results for the theory component of the VCE Dance.
I help clear up the confusion students may be facing in relation to the expectations of their essay writing and theory work in V.C.E Dance, including specifics on how to structure essays and the features students need to include in their essay to score their best results.

Students are taught by an experienced VCE Dance teacher and choreographer with VCAA Assessor experience (over 25 years teaching experience). I support my students with choreographing strategies that are most effective in aiding students to develop their choreography during our sessions.

I am friendly, patient, have a good sense of humour and strong rapport building skills with students. I offer excellent support to students both academically and emotionally.

In addition, I provide support through the stresses and pressure students face during their V.C.E with strategies to support them with stress and anxiety in the lead up to SACs and performance exams. This helps to provide students with the support they need to build their confidence in their writing ability and performance skills to achieve their very best in their V.C.E Dance studies.

My teaching process involves a highly developed and individually tailored program, ensuring student and parent satisfaction with the learning process and results achieved. My lesson plans are developed specifically for the individual student and are tailored to the area the student requires focus, in order to achieve the very best results for their Dance SACs and Exams.
