As an experienced and passionate educator, I offer engaging and personalised lessons tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. My approach is rooted in patience, clarity, and encouragement—creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and make progress at their own pace. I use a range of teaching techniques, including visual aids, structured discussion, and clear step-by-step guidance. My lessons are interactive and goal-focused, often incorporating active recall, spaced repetition, and real-life application to deepen understanding and retention. I also ensure regular feedback and use formative assessment to adapt each session in real time. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I can be flexible depending on the age and focus of the student. I hold both a PGDipEd and a Masters in Teaching Studies with 3 years of classroom and tutoring experience, including a large focus on working with pupils with SEND and adapting material to meet a variety of needs. My sessions are suitable for secondary school students (ages 11–18), including those preparing for exams or needing support with subject content, study skills, or confidence building. I also welcome other learners and those seeking structured academic support.
