Mandy is so patient and methodical in her teaching. She takes the time to ensure understanding, and is always willing to recover ground if needed. In addition she's a lovely lady !

I came across Mandy when she offered online sign language tutoring over zoom a year or so ago. I didn't really know what to expect as I'd never done it before but Ive always been intrigued by signing as I come across deaf people at work sometimes and really wanted to be able to connect with them on their terms. I found the course she offered at beginner level really helpful and a lot of fun. It was interactive so we could ask for content that was relevant to our needs as well as just receive what was planned for the session. I found myself picking up/memorising quite a lot of words and phrases that were really practical and useful. But more importantly it gave me confidence to try things out and not to be afraid if I got it wrong. Mandy is a lovely person with warmth and humour. She is very encouraging and I dont hesitate to recommend her tutoring.

I had been looking for someone to teach me sign language for many years and when I found Mandy I was thrilled. Not only did she make it easy to learn she also brought her humour to make it fun and enjoyable. Mandy was also able to tailor our lessons to my specific needs which was super useful. I have learnt so much and look forward to continuing my learning journey with Mandy. I can not recommend Mandy highly enough as a sign language teacher.
