About Katherine

Hi everyone!

I am a qualified Spanish tutor with four years teaching experience. I studied Spanish at the University of Sheffield. I have C1-C2 level fluency in written and spoken Spanish and I thoroughly enjoy teaching Spanish as a second language. I have a passion for languages and am a language learner myself (currently learning German and Portuguese!) and wish to share the joy of language learning with others.

About the lesson

I cater to the student's needs. The classes focus on developing speaking fluency in Spanish. In my lessons, we will focus on conversation, naturally building up and improving your vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening and - of course - I always ensure that my classes are interesting and fun and that you will be able to apply your Spanish in the real world. My classes aim to build up my students' confidence and get them using the language as quickly as possible.

A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, shorter lessons available on request if required. Just ask :)

I have four years teaching experience and a BA in Modern Languages (Spanish, French and Dutch) and a master's in Hispanic Studies.

I have C1-C2 level in written and spoken Spanish. I am 33 years old and currently living between Spain and the UK, so my Spanish is very up-to-date with current spoken usage!
