About Matt
I am a Qualified Teacher with PGCE, my undergraduate degree was a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences. I have A-levels in Chemistry & Physics, and an HEFC L3 in Human Biology. I have been privately tutoring since the start of 2020. I have an enhanced DBS with child barring list checks on the update service.

I teach by identifying areas where students are less confident and reteaching that content. I provide mock exam papers for topics and talk through an approach to answering the questions and verbalising the thought process behind the answer before it is committed to paper. I look ahead to upcoming topics, retrieving useful prior knowledge to build confidence in the classroom.

Matt tutored my 15 daughter and he helped her immensely with subjects she was struggling with, he has a great way of explaining and approaching subjects for the individual needs in a way the young person will understand whilst keeping you updated with there progress and what's needed to best help the individual succeed and his enthusiasm for teaching shines through and this also shows in the confidence my daughter gained whilst she was being tutored by matt I would definitely recommend him
