About Emily
I am originally a performer, with grade 8 distinction on flute and extensive experience on saxophone, piano and singing. I studied an academic music degree at The University of Manchester, graduating in 2010. Following some work in the music industry I went on to study and qualify as a lawyer and practiced Human Rights law for six years. I then returned back to music, with a desire to support young people in music education. I studied my PGCE at University College London and have been teaching music in secondary schools for four years.

With a real passion for music, and experience as a performer, composer and academic musician, I can assist in all areas with a flexible and tailored approach. I am passionate in my belief that music can change lives and hope to support others in developing their skills as musicians.
