About Alexandra

I am an Oxford university PGCE qualified teacher and tutor with lots experience teaching at both primary and secondary levels.

I have coached pupils successfully through their 11+ so can do this kind of work as well as general work with students who have SEN with experience in Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and ASD.

I am great at building good relationships and raising the self esteem of students who are struggling.

I am confident it all main subject areas at Primary and at KS3.

I also teach Kids Yoga and am good at coming up with creative ideas around the child's interest which will engage students. I use humour and games to help students enjoy their learning. I have lots of techniques to help students understand concepts and remember skills and information.

Perfect! Non verbal reasoning
Our 10 year old son has just finished a two hour session with Alexandra, phew! He managed to sit and concentrate through the whole session with only a 10 minute break, which says a lot about her teaching skills.

Outcome : We have booked more sessions with Alexandra for next week.

Having had our daughter tutored in the past, I know that it can be difficult to find a suitable tutor. That's why we can say that Alexandra was a lucky find, She was the first tutor we tried with our and he hit it off with her immediately! Our son has Dyspraxia, which can be a challenge for a novice, But Alex had no trouble in engaging him in his task. We would certainly choose tutor fair again.
